Hehe I love this bias towards Nissan on this website. See, the point of the ES300 is not a performance sedan. It's not about how fast it can corner or how fast it can accelerate...the ES300 has always been about a smooth solid ride with great build quality and materials. And I think with those aspects, the ES300 will be successful.
If you want a faster car with a rougher ride, a few more rattles, and less wood trim, get an I35. If you want a soothing ride, quiet cabin, but place less emphasis on absolute cornering, then the ES300 is the ticket. Besides, for the same price, a Lexus customer can get an IS300 if they really want handling.

Just like the 2002 Maxima. No offense, but it could fit RIGHT into this catagory. Originally posted by DA-MAX

If they would have just put the 255 HP engine in the 4th gen.'s....now THAT would be a perfect Maxima.Quote:

agreed, so who's gonna be the first to do the switch, 255hp n/a in a 4th gen would be sweet, but our trannies wouldn't like it. 5-spds with stage 3 clutches only.Originally posted by Craig Mack
