You can adjust the fuel pressure and even the injector duty cycle but how are you going to address the timing issue? JWT chip? Stand alone? You may want to look into the "Link engine management" out of the UK. Subaru and miata sites have more info. I saw Nissan Maxima as a option but I don't think it's plug and play. Nor is it cheap. $1000+

Possibly but do they have applications for Nissans and Toyotas? I know they have apps for Hondas. Hell, there are even companies that offer systems that work w/ the factory ecu. You can use the factry ecu for most stuff like idle quality and cold start but you can alter the factory's ignition/fuel/vtec crossover points. Very, very nice.

The rev speed meter didnt have an app for the camry and i made it work And work is does!

The Super ITC is a generic piece. They probably just have wiring diagrams for each car like the rev speed meter. Im just wondering if it will be compatible with the maximas ECU, i bet it is, no one would know until they got one i guess. Probably would be good for some nitrous guys too.

What what can you control? Ignition timing only? How much advance/retard can you dial in?

I got this off their site.

The Super ITC adjusts ignition timing by +/-15% by modifying the crank/cam angle signal on certain vehicles. The timing curve is adjusted by setting the timing at 5 different points along the RPM range and the values between are interpolated by the ITC from those 5 points. The Super ITC used in conjunction with the Super AFC fuel controller creates a new dimension of tuning with piggyback computers.

Have you seen some gains by playing w/ it?

I havent used the Super ITC yet. Thats why im not sure exactly how it works or even how well it works. Once i get my fuel system finished and the nitrous on i want to get one. I like the split second controller because it has a retard on it, which is good for nitrous. But i figured with turbomax's setup the ITC might be better.

someone has used the ITC on their Maxima and it didnt work. Maybe MardisGrasMax or someone else. Like Keving said, im using a custom turbo program from JWT. I plan to bring the car down one day when i get my 555cc injectors and boost 16+ psi, theres the general rule of retard 1 degree for every 2-3 pounds of boost. Im not excatly sure how much the JWT ECU retards...maybe i should find out. Im not gonna go stand alone system. Too much work and too much money.

About the ITC....

I'm not sure of the relevance to 4th gens, but recently "Max O/D" attempted to use the ITC on his 3rd gen...apparently the guys at Altered Atmosphere Motorsprts(Rockville, MD) were unable to install it or set it up for use on his car. now I'm not sure if this is the exact story he told me at Maxus last week(my bad memory), but apparently it was a "no go" seeing as how he had the box lying around in his backseat and not installed. and I'm pretty sure they are experienced at installing Apex products since they installed his AFC and tuned it rather successfully! who knows maybe the 4th gen is different...

the 3rd gen VE guys should have minor timing adjustment via cam sensor. Im pretty sure you cant use the ITC on the 4th gen, juss wait for that memeber that tried the ITC to post here.

ITC install

I dont know if this will help but I have done the install on my third gen wich I have done numerous mods to.The concept was that since I have the same engine as the 89non turbo 300zx this would work the wiring diagram is the same so thats hows we hooked it up tryed cranking the motor it wouldnt crank over sounded like as if it wanted to but know go tryed numerous combo still know go.Iam kinda ****ed because I spent 300 od dollars for nothing.
