I can't wait to get my kit from Hogan. How long did it take for the install? Do you think you'll miss the highbeams much?

wel..

Hogan installed them at the meet, like 10-15 minutes (at 11pm outside hehe). It Didnt look to bad... but would definetly take me longer. We had a lil problem with one of the balasts or something because one light went out but we gotta check it out. As far as high beams go... I dont miss them. The way home was so lit up it was crazy, i got flashed like 15 times. But you're supposed to re-aim the lights 6 inches down when you get the HID's and I didnt do that yet...

Congrats on the HIDs ... 10-15 minutes ... hehehe... I think Hogan was rushing cause everyone was pressuring him, crowding him, waiting for him to install them so everyone could see.

I have a pic of that somewhere.....

medicsonic... I believe I have a reason to be even more jealous than you... you see... Hogan reserved that set for me or else it would have been sold a loooong time ago. I didn't have enough money and Hogan wanted to get rid of it and Nine7Max was the lucky guy that got my HIDs.

Here's Hogan installing the HIDs

And here's almost everyone crowding around to wait for Hogan to finish installing so they can see HIDs on a 4th gen.

More pics of the meet here:
(sorry about the quality of the pics... we were having it at night in a poorly lit area)

You should no this Sprint.. Just re-adjust the two long bolts that are conected to the rear of the headlights. Re-aiming helps but the beam pattern is still far from perfect on a 4th gen.

Anything new with the projector lights Hogan?

BTW congrats Nine7Max. Hids are definatly nice..

Ethan's wrong, you drop them a few times on the ground, 6 times I believe, or until you hear the sound of broken glass.

I'm pulling on you hard. Are you sure I don't have the 5 speed and you don't have the automagic?

So it only takes Hogan 10-15 minutes to install the kit in the dark? How long would it take him during the day... or with his eyes closed?

I also bought a set of Panasonic HID's from Hogan. Let me tell you these things are just awesome. When I was coming home from the track Wednesday night everyone just saw the HID's coming and moved out of my way. They light the road up and makes the factory foglights obsolete. These things are SWEET!
