This is a list of my modds and performance stats from bone stock to now.
Stock 1/4 times the first day at the track. This is not my first time at the track I also had a 95 before this car.So anyways I ran 15.7-15.9 at 85-86mph. My first mod was to put my Stillen muffler on. So with my Stillen muffler and the airfilter out I put down 165hp and 180tq on the dyno, I was able to run 15.5s at around 86-87mph. My next mod was to modify the airbox to try to save some money. It work pretty well, with my new y-pipe and the b-pipe insatlled I was running 15.2-15.4 at 89-90. My MAX never had any top end, that sux major azz. I can haul azz to the 1/8 mile but than no top end. So I ran with this settup for a while. Then my friend ends up blowing his VR6 with a NOS kit, and says that I can have it if I want it. So we install it over the weekend. I ended up useing a .32 NOS jet and a .42 fuel jet. This was sopposed to be a 40"shot". I was just hoping to hit the 14s with this. My first pass with the NOS I only had 800psi in the bottle(did not know about the bottle psi thing) I ran 14.59 @94. I was so happy. The next week I was ready. Full bottle with 950 psi and less than 1/4 tank of gas. I ran 14.24@96 yehaw. Then I was able to pull off a 14.12 with a 2.09 60' time. This on 17inch tires. I once asked this bbs what a 4th gen automatic would need to run 13s, and the responce I got was"a 150shot should do it" Well I know that is not true. I want to get my car on a dyno again, I should be able to pull 215hp and 235tq at he wheels. That is my quess. I know I have a LOT of torque but I can see the hp is down due to the low mph at the track. BUT we will see, thakx for reading..Hope you enjoy this random act of rambling.

Damn, I gotta figure whats wrong with my front suspension.. Feels like my car is out of alignment. Even though I just got it aligned again 2 weeks ago.. But after I get that sorted out.. I want to get NOS.. =) And the valve body. Then I think I'll be happy. You have a wet kit right?

Good results.....

Since you have a wet kit this is why your car is so quick. If your 98 max is federal spec you might want to try the JWT ECU with NOS program. If you haven't already get a high flow fuel pump, maybe some 420cc injectors. This way you can increase it to a bigger shot. Also get the Techtom mdm-100. Those kind of results make me want to put a wet kit on my max once I get it running. I would hope to hit 14's in my max. You might also want to try making a cold air intake if not buying a used one. How did you get your 60fts so low.

I don't have a wet kit...

It is a dry manifold kit. One jet in the intake and one jet in the line that goes to the fuel regulator. I think I will keep the fuel system stock, cause I wont go up on the NOS. I just want to make the car a little stronger, like with a vb modd and maybe a higher stall. My next modd will be a high flo cat.

Nice rims!
Wish I had 17s... but these were the right price..

Those are some pretty durn good times there.. I'd definitely get your VB redone, as if you're putting down that much power and running at the strip constantly, you're gonna kill that tranny pretty quick! (right, JimW?!)
new torque convertor would also be a good idea, but I wouldn't say that it's necessary as the VB recal i

Juice.. it does an engine good.

Try a .036 NOS jet, 60hp

Thats what NOS recomends on a 3.0L dry manifold kit, you'll get into the 13's for sure! Just watch the plugs.
