I am set on getting the Sprints, but I dont know what shocks to get. I am about to get the Sprints with proabably the KYBs. I am however concerned bc the GR-2 or whatever are factory replacements, and will probably have a near-factory ride. Wont this mean they will wear out quickly and wont handle the extrmely harsh sprints>? Also, tirerack.com has the AGXs for around $400. i thought people were saying they werent coming out for another month or 2??? I just blew a stock strut, so I need to act fast. Id appreciate any advice. Thanks

Any aftermarket strut will be an improvement with Sprint Springs.. however.. some struts will last longer than others.. KYB's and Koni's will last longer than Tokico's

Well......

I've heard the GR-2s are quite reliable and I'm not sure what you mean when you say "near factory ride"...the stock struts on my Max lasted almost forever and the ride was fine till they went! don't let the price of the KYBs fool you either, they are top quality struts!! got mine from carparts.com for $225 shipped!

The KYB GR-2s, are not adjustable and they are not performance shocks. They run great with stock springs, but lowering springs will put more force on them, and over time they won't handle it.

The AGX's are in tireracks catalog, but they won't ship them cause they aren't released yet.

If you're getting sprints then wait for the AGX's.
