After working fine all day, the Bose CD in our 1994 J-30 refused to eject the CD and won't power up any of the functions (radio, tape, etc). The fuse in the fuse compartment looks fine.

Has anyone experienced this and have any thoughts on where to look?

Much appreciated-

I haven't experienced the same symptoms but here are some sites that may provide you with some more info on your situation:

Thanks Rav, the sites are very helpful. The unit began to work today, but I gather this sort of problem is not uncommon and I may need to send it in for repair if it happens again. It's good to find out from the links you posted that there are firms that can do this sort of repair relatively reasonably.

Bose radio problem

I know this sounds silly but it just might work. remove the fuse(s) and replace them again. I've heard this happen on older Maximas. They seem to jiggle loose and need to be re-seated again. Hope this helps.

Thanks Dwa.

Anyone know does the Bose have an auxiliary fuse on the back like the older Max radios did?
