True Or False Show Car Insurance….?
I went to another car show this weekend(got rained out)
anyway I was told that if I continue to "use" my car as a "show " car the insurance company will view it as a higher value car and "make" me pay more for insurance because the value of my car has changed in that it is use it as "show" car
Has anyone ever heard such?

Ive never heard it like that. But if you tell your insurence company you want every mod covered then it's gonna cost more. As far as the "showcar insurence" never heard that. I have all my stuff covered.(it's realy really expensive)

I used to work for Geico, and here is what they used to say... If u mod ur car, you should technically tell them about the mods on your car so that they can "properly" insure your car. Lets just say a car before mods is worth $17,000 and after mods is worth $25,000 then you should be paying insurance for a $25,000 car, because thats you what you want them to payout on, not an $17,000 car. So your rate would go up. For most companies if the mods are a about 2g's and u have receipts for the mods, and pics, you should be fine.
And then there is something called show car insurance, but at Geico you can never drive a car w/show car insurance. It insures your car to and from and at the show.
