Ok-
It seems to me that there are at least 5 of us who would do this. I am willing to throw it together and organize it all if I can get at least 5 people to commit to it. I don't think it will be a big deal at all.

As I mentioned earlier, there is a car meet in Brunswick right off of 71 on 303. I am not sure if it will still be there that late in the season, but it's worth a shot. Again, there are car's from the 50's all the way up to the rice machines that Honda makes

From the North you take 71 south to Brunswick and get off at the Route 303 exit. Make a right at the bottom of the exit and go about 1/4 of a mile and you will see a Kmart parkig lot on your right with cars in the front. Pull in and find us. From the South you go North on 71 to Route 303 and then off and make a left and Kmart is on your right about 1/2 mile up. It would take you about 1.5 hours from Columbus if traffic light. It would take about 20min. from Cleveland.

So, Sept 9th, Sat. night. Lets start the meet at 6-7pm and have it end when it gets dark? I will have my digital camera to take pics with and post on the .org later.

Any more ideas?

Again, please post if you will attend. Even if you think you might and aren't sure. I want to get an idea of the potential turnout.

Thanks,
SHUMAX

What the....

This is surprising to me. Not two weeks ago there were about 4 of you guys who live in or near Cleveland, Ohio who said you were interested. Now, after 24 hours of being posted I get one response? I hope you guys are on vacation or something and just haven't seen this post yet!

Buffalo would be a bit of a poke at 10pm. Maybe we can move the meet up to 5pm and then you could take off around 8pm and be home by 11pm?

Sounds great!

Not sure where that is but I will attempt to be present. In any case, it will be much shorter than the drive from Buffalo. So I am down for 80%. Depending upon how the Mrs feels that day..

Yeah. On vacation and just got back today. I'm tentatively in but will need to check my work schedule for Sept before I can say definitely (Damn! I hate how my job owns me sometimes...)--will know in about a week.

Anyways, thanks for heading this up Shumax.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure why I said the 9th---that is a Sunday!

I meant we would meet on the 8th which is a Sat. night. I think that if we start around 5pm and hangout a bit that would be good. There is a Damnos about a mile up the road we could eat at afterwards if anyone is up for it?!

I will be there at 5pm on Sat. Sept. 8th with my skinny white legs and my digital camera ready for some good social fun!

Keep me posted on who else will come. Right now we have 5 including myself and one person who is 80% sure. You can email me if you want too...shumax@yahoo.com

Later-
SHUMAX

Oh yea...for those of you in Cleveland--I will be at the Great Northern Mall tonight at the new Bennigans for dinner around 7pmish. Come on by and take a look at --SHUMAX-- if you are not busy. I am having dinner with friends, but I would love to meet anyone who is in the area!

Oh yea...when I get my S2k in a few years...my license plate is going to read UDLOSE Saw it on an Indiana licensed ACCORD What a joke!

BUMP!

Seems like noone reads this fron NE Ohio till after 5pm. By then its on the second page and noone really looks.

Again-
I will be at Great Northern Mall at the new Benigans around 7pm-ish to have dinner with my fiance and some friends. If anyone in the area wants to meet up with me to see ---SHUMAX--- let me know. I would love to see some of the Cleveland area Maxes!

Otherwise the meet will be on Sat., Sept. 8th, not Sunday the 9th as I had mentioned earlier. I am not sure why I said the 9th. On the 8th we can meet around 5ish and hangout and then hit Damons which is about one mile up the road.

Later-

WOW!

Sweet! An actual response here Actually I use to go to College at Bowling GReen. The drive should take you no more than 2 hours unless you drive under 70mph?

You take the turnpike the entire way till you hit 71. Take 71 south for about 7 miles and you are in Brunswick!

Cool! Lets get more people! I am getting excited...

ok, you may think osu is so great, but BG has a 7 girl to 1 guy ratio. so while you're at your premier university with no ladies hangin on ya, you just remember that hehehe

7:1

Sounds like an air to fuel ratio more than a girl to guy ratio All kidding aside---he is correct. When I graduated about 2 years ago it was 5 to one, and man was it nice to have it like that. Normally its like 2 to one, but that other one of the two is butt ugly anyway so you are back to a 1:1

Columbus?

We all *know* Cleveland is better than Columbus.

btw, as far as Ohio colleges go, Miami University has the hottest girls...I think they received a high rating from Playboy a few years back. My school, John Carroll University, has its share of hotties as well.

Yes, OSU...had a few great times down there...but I don't remember most of it.

Sounds Interesting

Just found this site in the past few days and have been poking around for about 3 hours today. Would be interested in meeting other Maxima owners and seeing what modifications they have made to their cars. I am considering a couple, mostly related to lighting. Not sure of my schedule for Saturday night, but will try to swing by.

shumax -

its nice to know there's an interest for max enthusiast to showcase their cars in front of k-mart. born and bred in brunswick and i have recently relocated to phoenix, AZ.

listen, i have a 97 max gle and i bought it from pvt owner in north royalton, oh; however, the owner misplaced her owners manual and on the 97 max, the drivers side sun-visor has buttons for the garage door opener. how do you adjust the settings to have it coincide with the garage door?

many thanks.

hmm

I wish that I could help you with the programming of that feature. I would suggest you go to the dealer and see if they will be nice enough to TELL you how to do and not charge ya--yea right Ebay is another place you might be able to pick up the owners manual cheap too. I don't know if you are close to Brown and Brown Nissan in AZ., but they are great guys and have supported our list before.

Good luck!

*************UPDATE*******************

I had a bad feeling that my directions might screw some of you up---they aren't difficult, but I never have you an exit number because I didn't know it. Instead, I gave you a route number to follow.

I got bored and drove up there lastnight to check it out. The EXIT number is 226 which is Brunswick. The route that runs across interstate 71, is route 303. So get off at exit 226 or route 303 and follow the directions from there.

The retards here have changed the forecast to rain late in the day Sat. and early Sunday. I certainly hope that they change it again!!

Darn it! I didn't even think of the tent idea! I even have a big one that would work for the meet. To bad Kmart would kick me off quicker than a shoplifter!

I'll bring my umbrella just in case.

I thought Kmart gave away things for free?

Have you seen, if you've been cruising by, if they were holding 303 meets lately? Just checking if we'd be the only enthusiasts on the lot.
