People are always asking what is the legal tint in their area...here it is:

Another interesting fact is that it costs most cars to $125 to get tinted and the film only costs $25. Seems like most of us are paying high $100s. Damn we are getting ripped off but oh well I cant install tint to same my a$$.

i think the high $100's is removal of the old tint too. it cost me $170 to install new tint and remove my old tint.

also, if the film only cost $25, that would mean $100 for 2-3 hours of labor(on average). i think that is about right, dont you?

I'm shopping now and got quoted from 170-250 just for tint installation. I agree $100 for a few hours work is good but $150 is a little high. oh well so our our overpriced mods.
