Expensive and bad on your car. Cost about 2000 for the dros, no telling how much for install, and you have to cut the frame. I would go with air cylinders or air bags.

 

I have always wondered about hydro's (or air bags or whatever other adjustable choice i have...) i would love to have them if they were functional like the ones in the new audi wagon (supposably anyway). I don't want to hop my car or anything but living in maine it would be nice to just cruise around with the car lowered and then when driving in the winter and on the worst roads, just raise the car up. would i need to reinforce the frame for this? and how does the car handle... is it a stiff suspension or what? i wish i lived near more people so i could see and ride in cars with these kinds of mods and see what nitrous and superchargers are like. i guess for now it will have to be monster trucks and huntin!

 

oh and just another cool thing about it, those hydros are different than the ones you imagine on an old 6-4 impala, those jump the entire car, i like how his wheels stay planted and the body moves, it looks like its alive...

...and look stupider? Just kidding. I was thinking air shocks would work nice on a Maxima...especially if you ever want to tow something with your massive torque machine.
