As far as I know, Jamie Farrer has the fastest Maxima. The runs were made on full slicks and 125shot direct port nitrous system. Best part about his car is the nut behind the wheel. THE MAN CAN STRAIT UP DRIVE REALLY WELL. He's run 12.8s with it. He now campaigns the world's fastest Sentra. It runs 10.03 on turbo and nitrous. If anyone sees his little red Sentra from Evolution Racing at the track, stop and say hello and congratulate him for everything he's accomplished.

As a side note* who locked the SI thread? For the guy who wanted to call me out...I had a reply for him, CRed?...if you read this (Or anyone who talks to him, let him know), i did say something about a 11-10 sec Max. If you read it really closely... i said Steve in Philly was suppose to be running those times. He was boosted & NOSed and bored out to 3.2L. And yes there are enough 13 second Maximas here.

Now, I've been wondering about this. Didn't you oringinally think that the stock rods/pistons were replaced but then thought maybe they weren't? Well could they possibly have been replaced with low compression replacements to accomodate a high boosting supercharger? Or do you get low compression even WITH the s/c running? Is it in every chamber or some more than others? How much less is it?

 

yes it is...and i'll tell u where it's located at too....on sw houston...on 59@westpark...ya'll should come by and check it out sometime...it's white...and it's a 95 max with 97 front conversion....and he's a yellow fellow....

 

there is a differnence between what you are talking about. he has low compression, as in the cyclinders aren't holding the pressure they should. a lower compression ratio is what you are talking about.

Synki, I thought the bore was to 3.02 Liter. I spoke to Steve personally. He didn't make it into 11's. With the SC and NO2 on his engine, he only got into the 12's.

 

but that sick thing is it will be REAL close.

 

it was bored .20 over .. it is a 3.2L .. Steve never made it to 11's because the car was always in the shop.. the car had pontential for 11's

 

What he told me was that the new motor that I have was never nitroused or ran at the track, but that very low ETs would be possible. **** IMPO insists that the motor will take a 125hp profogger shot on top of the stock boost level. 11's? mabye 11.99999999999 with a little Vodoo Magic on my side, but I doubt it. On the old motor his best time was a 13.3 w/the stock SC pulley. Who really knows.

Ps: BTW, CR's are up and solid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, that's not funny! That actually happened to me!

 

I got a Maxima because of the Ghetto man himself Jamie F. out of N.J.
I have been with him runnig at Atco and Englishtown his ride is for real.

He has since changed it back to show rather then go... but thats what started me out with my baby.

He is now a owner of a sweet 99max and a 9 second SE-R it is sick NO SH@T. I just wish he knew how to use a computer so he could respond to this. As for me.. I sure as heck miss the east coast EXIT 117!!!

changed it back to show LOL! last time I saw that car the body kit was about to fall off and there were only a few simple mods left on it. he said something like he could care less about maximas anymore.
