Ugg! I see more and more people attaching BMP's. DONT!! There is NOTHING good about a BMP. Browsers dont like displaying them, and they are HUGE!! A BMP is like 1 or 2 megs and if you changed it to gif or jpeg it would be 50k or so. So invest in a free bmp to gif/jpg converter if you only have MSPaint or somthing. www.download.com and search for bmp to gif and im sure you'll find somthing.
But for all us dial up people it just sucks to have to deal with BMPs. Theres no point in wasting serve space anyway. Theres no reason to ever use a BMP that i can think of.
Ok, end rant =)

I think if you have netscape your in luck, because I think that NS doesn't render .bmp's anymore. Can anyone verify this?

He's just talking about the size of BMP's. They take forever to download on dialup and there is no real need to use them as sig pics.

Thank God for broadband.

1600 X 1200 or 1024 X 768. And just so you don't have to squint, there is thr 'use large fonts' option in the display control panel.
