Does it make a difference to/not to have the oem duct work in place after a pop charger installed? I'm trying to clean up the engine bay. I see that it should probably contribute to more air in the vicinity of the intake but not much. Right?

some ppl have differents says to if removing it will do any better. some say it directs air to the cone but I feel that the air wont reach the cone since it doesnt have enough vaccume pressure for it to actually travel through the duct. I feel that removing it will also have more room for air to cool down. I dont really know but I like it off because it looks cleaner

Leave it in. The front end of the end produces a lot of pressure therefore air will move in through the stock inlet.
