I know how to take the damn thing off, I have the C Manual, but I don't have a new gasket and I can't afford one. So, whoever cleaned their TB without removing it, can you tell me how that was done?

Well, i took mine off very carefully and re-used the gasket.

Take the MAF and associated tubing off. Jam the throttle open with something. Clean away...

Technically, all you HAVE to do is take the intake ducting, sensor connectors and throttle cables off. After that, just unbolt the TB, and you have access to the inside. DO NOT bend it too much though, the vacuum hoses are still attached. Good luck.

Ah I thought a new gasket is only a few $$? If you can't afford that, how do you pay for gas?
