Hello fellow members!

I have stock 97 16x6.5 inch rims on my 95SE and need replacements immediately. I have seen previous posts on how great the Dunlop SP5000's(225/50/16) are on the stock 16's.

I have researched and seen why a lot of our members install SP5K's. The price on these tires are pretty cheap compared to other big-name manufactureres.

I was wondering if you folks could give me an opinion on the experience you have had w/ your aftermarket tires. I am thinking of getting a tad wider tires such as 225/50/16 inch tires, H rated or higher although I figured that I will have a tad more roll. Also, I need all-season tires since I live in NYC where we have all four seasons.

Do not put H rated tired on your car, first of all that is a very low speed rating and the cornering is compromised. I know you might not be pushing the H rated speed limit but still cornering is very important.

I would check out Kumho tires, very good and cheap. I have them and have no complaints. Along with Car&Driver Motor Trend who have rated that tire
