They look great from here! I whould love to see a pic of them during the day, is that possible? I have been having some trouble with my 1/2 clear 1/2 red tails{paint don't match} so I am thinking about getting some Altezzas and painting them body color.

Pictures would be great, thanks! As for vinyl, I don't know anything about it and my car is dark green so it probably whould not match? I am a pro at cooking tail lights in the oven now, so taking them apart to be painted whould not be a problem .

..

I think the camera / picture quality took a lot away from the actual appearence .. lets see those pics in the daytime, I'm sure they'll look way better. (look kinda blurry )

I tried taking them apart about a month or two ago. I had no problem getting them apart and painting them black to match my car but I could not get them back together for nothing. I tried heating them and clamping them I tried just about everything for two days and finally I cracked one of the lense and had to order new ones. I don't think I would try to paint the inside part again.

Looks MUCH better than regular altezzas!!
The black sticks out though, ya know? It would be even cooler if it was JUST the circles, and the other part blended in with the trunk. That would like really good. But very good work.

My 95 is forest green on tan leather . I ordered some Altezzas last night , now I just have to figure out what to do with them.

Jose, thanks for the pics, they look great! Did you get the vinyl painted? And how did you get it cut? Thanks

Well since my car is black as well, I thought it might be worth of a try, do they make those for 99 model? If so, where do you buy them?

You know I've never liked the way that altezzas look, but "Blacked Out" like that I gotta say that it looks pretty
good. It kind of makes them blend in better and look like they belong on the car.
Nice job Joe !

That looks great! How would you categorize a craftsman capable of such work? I would like to find someone to do this.

I got it done at Designer Image in deer park long island... i met the guy through PJ (Maxima97GLE) he puts the vinyl over it, takes the bubbles out like they do with tints, cuts around the edge, then uses a heating gun to dry it... they came out real good there arent any bubbles... if anyone wants to they can probably send out altezzas to him and have him do that unless they can drive there... let me know and ill help work somethin out,

Joe

this is the same guy that does our (Team Maxximum Performance) windhield banners, tints, and graphics. P.J. (the other one) is the man when it comes to vinyl car graphics. He did my whole car (pics coming soon) and he did my tail lights too. Unlike Joe (who's ALtezzas look SO SO SO much better now... good job Joe) I have red and clears and did it in another design. Once I get pics I'll post em. If anyone need directions to Designer Image let me know.

Again... Your Altezzas looks HOT now. Joe

not a huge fan of the altezzas on a MAX at all.. but if i were to do it that is one way..
I had the GS400 tail lights in my possession and i was gonna have a body shop chop up the rear end for 500$ and fit them in, but the wiring would not have worked out.. too much rewire and all that for me..
I am surprised the vinyl turned out well.. i worked for a sign company and did all the vinyl on my car myself (then i ripped it off) so i know how hard that probably was..

nice work.

if you shaved the tail end and removed the nissan on the front grille, people would be asking you all the time what kind of car you are driving.

are you serious, maximas look AWFUL unlowered, esp on aftermarker rims. they have so much wheel gap they need to be lowered.
