I have a question about the y pipe for a 2000 maxima se, will it cause you to fail Emissions, cuz it sounds too good to be leagal, what about if you add on the hi flow cat?? im looking at both these mods so any help would be great!

Y pipe does not replace your cat. It replaces the pre cat, so you should not have any problem with emissions.

thanks for that link sprintmax, very helpfull i have at least a half hr drive to the dmv and also usually wait in line for about another good 20 min or so, so i should be alright.

Does the hi flow cat work just as good as the stock one for controlling the emissions?

Nice

And with all those mods like power locks...and power windows, you'll hit that time easily!!!
Lol, i was thinking baout doing that wiht my sig too?
you practically named the parts list for a maxima.....
funny schtuff..

Brandon

you won't fail emissions wiht the y pipe, just make sure the engine is "hot" when they test it, the y pipe could fail you if you car has cooled down.....
thats what i've heard!
