This guy in my town has a 92(i think) 5.0. Hes always taking trash about imports and i really want to road kill his ****. Hes got gears, exhust, pullies and maybe headers(cant remember). Is No2 my only hope? I guess a y-pipe wont give me the edge? Now hes not the worlds best driver, hes known to miss gears and ****, but still he has his days. Im just sick of him talking **** about imports and it would be the funniest thing in the world to blow past him...

Well since most street races heavily depend on the driver, if you say that he is a bad driver and he misses gears then I think a preschooler on a tricycle could beat him. However if you get a good driver in there then you would have a battle on your hands. 5.0's are pretty quick esp if he's done any work to the engine at all.

well.....

if u can fork out the money to buy a NO2 kit then thats what i would do...but since you are prolly like the rest of us and strapped for cash i'd just arrange to have him beat!! Get a friend wiht a nice car to cream him! =D

A while back some kids quote was "If you can't be them, arrange to have them beat" and i stand by that!

No ypipe is going to help you... you either need the earth to open up and swallow him, a NOS kit or you are going to need a different car.. sorry..

I have raced a lot of 90ish Mustangs and I have won some and lost some. It seems the stock one I can beat if I get a good lonch but the ones with X-Pipes and full exaust etc usually pull a car on me. I raced a 90ish mustang last week that had a bunch of mods and he pulled about 1 car on me by 85MPH. Keep in mind I am a good driver and I have lots of mods. BTW NOS whould do the trick .

A bone stock 5.0 with gears, exhaust, and some bolt ons would give a S/C'd 4th gen a run aroung. Not to mention if you slap some alluminum heads on a 5.0 good night! They are very fast and it is not uncommon to see one running 12's N/A
