James Farrell Worlds fastest Nissan just made a new record!

James Farrer earlier around
5pm EST Ran a 9.83@145.66 MPH to make him the worlds fastest
SE-R or FWD Nissan for that matter.

This was at Englishtown last night! AWESOME run James!

He was the one that ran 12.6 in a 5spd Maxima!

Don Cooper (Don In Texas) ran a 12.8 with his AUTOMATIC maxima. Of course he's a supercharged with his own vb upgrade.

I think he was just stating that another person has been close to that time in a max.

Don's Max is not supercharged. His 12.8 was all motor with NOS.

Well, what I do know its a stock bottom end SR20DE, with upper rebuilt. Has a big Fmax turbo kit, and alot of custom work done. It's fast....

Hell yea, I've got a lot of respect for Farrer. He did allt he work on the car himself. Hell, he built the car in 3 monthes in his mothers garage largely without sponsership last year and was running 10 flat all day long. I believe his max ran 12.8 with a 140 of juice. He blew the motor a bunch of times as well as the tranny before deciding to build an SE-R.

Correction, he got 12.6, and sprayed 130 shot. He also only blew a RING on one cyl. one time that is it. He needed a daily driver so he fixed the car and didn't race it anymore and got a SE-R.

The tranny never had a problem either.

I talk to him at least 1-2 times a week....

Exactly. Thanks for the props, speednsound...

Anyways, Damn Don isn't supercharged ?? And man is that alot of NOS he is running. Well I thought he accomplished this awesome time w/o any Nitrous, but it's still pretty damn sweet.

Goes to show everyone automagics are still capable with a little tinkering.
