Opinions needed on Cattman SS Y
Hey is fitment problem an issue with the new Cattman SS Y-Pipes? I have a 3rd gen and I was thinking of upgrading to a SS pipe. I heard that the jet hot ones banged against the sway bar under acceleration and rusted easily. Does this happen with the stainless steel ones? Thanks for any help.
Hey, BEJAY1, does your Y-pipe sit against the center piece of the frame that runs down the center of the engine bay on the bottom, the piece that the front center jack mount is on? I just installed a Cattman SS y-pipe today and it doesn't make any rattles, it just rests on the frame.
Slickismax - My pipe just misses the frame where the front & back converge together. About 1cm of clearance to the side. No rattles so far. (3 weeks)
It's nice how high it's tucked in too - about 1" above the "oil pan"? or that big squarish box with the bolt.
