I would like to have a minimal shot of nos on my car, however i would like to keep the car as stock as possible.

Now what would i have to do ot my 95 AUtomagic in order to run the smallest amount of nOS

I would go 40 shot of NOS.

The most important mods would be CAI or Intake, Y-pipe, & VB mod. That is the least you would need. This is what im running on but with a 50 shot.

Get the VB mod and a tranny cooler, it will EXTEND the life of your tranny. Get it, trust me...

I understand that..

its gonna take a while to get the vB from Don
therefore i have to take another measure

I am in need of nos right now, and i cna get it installed at a nearby shop for a fairly good price

however i am worried about this tranny issue
is it 100% proven that the nos will ruin the tranny?

i am not to familiar for Nitrous Oxide so i can't really qurestion it.

But i do know .. that i do not have 2 weeks to wait for the VB.
thnx

Re: I understand that..

Do you have an important race or something? Anything worth doing is worth doing right, sometimes ya gotta pay to play. You can use the NOS for a while on the stock tranny, but over time it WILL begin to suffer. Get a tranny cooler at LEAST right now, and get the VB mod ASAP, you will not regret it. Good luck.

If you cant afford the VB mod or dont have the $$$. I suggest getting a shift kit. The shift kit is rather cheap...$125 or so. This works too but the VB mod will always be better.

Shift kits only $40+ install, unless you do it yourself

Talk to DMBMaxima88 about it. He ordered it, and had a BIG problem installing. They are basically a bunch of springs that you have to put into your VB after taking it apart and drilling. Unless you feel comfortable doing this, it is a major undertaking.

I told him he would have a hard time! It's not an easy install, took me 6 hours, and I consider myself pretty mechanically inclined. http://www.txchange.com/parts.htm
If you are not comfortable with the thought of taking the whole VB apart with minimal instruction, don't do it.

The Transgo kit.....

its basically a DIY VB upgrade in a box...rumor has it that its not as performance oriented(compared to Don's and Level 10)...but it does quicken shifts and lessen stress on the trans cause by slow shifting!

Look at MTrai760's post for the TransGO and visit www.mobiletek.net for info on the VB.

ya the trans go kit is not an easy install. I'll sell you mine for 35 bucks shipped. i paid 52 shipped a couple weeks ago. If you have the time or a tranny shop that will do it for you it's cheaper then Don's but i'm getting don's because i'm running a 100shot and i get too frustrated too easily.
