Hmm, you never pulled more than 1 car length on a stock automagic with 150 lb of crap in his trunk. Not good.

Sprint, you need to redeem yourself. How many races you lost recently? Picking on Medicsonic is not a fair way to get your revenge.

Btw, is Dan the guy with the supercharged auto 5th gen? Or someone else?

Picking on a fat GLE with your lithe, lightweight, faster GXE just isnt nice. Especially, a GLE that is inexplicably slow like his...

Uh, I got pulled on by one whole car, wow. Maxus was a fluke, ask ANYONE that I have ever driven with. Now get in your two-toned hoopty with the ghetto mods and drive off a cliff.

I guess you noticed that he didn't pull on a STOCK automagic that much either? I would kinda expect this to go the same way BrianV's video ran, with one getting pounded by the other, but that didn't happen.

Is Medisonic really stock? I would have thought Sprint would have walked away fairly hard. In Sprint's defense, he did have the windows down and a passenger which does affect performance. I've had run against GuidoSSTs stock 95 GLE and a SE auto with intake at the track. From a 60mph roll on, with Guido going first, I was able to catch him and put 2 cars on him by 80mph when I let off. The SE I ran pulled off a 15.9 to my 14.8. He was a good distance behind me. We both had lower 2.3 60s due to the anticipation

Those videos are sweet (the ones that worked). That SE-R clearly was walking away and at a quick pace.

My windows AND my sunroof were open too, and ask anyone that was there, there was A LOT of stuff in my trunk. I figured he would have walked me good too, but he never did every time he tried. BTW, the only performance mod I have is a Level 10 VB.

As i am arguing with medsonic now on AIM

i walked my cousin 3 weeks ago in his 97 SE.. saturday we raced after i got back from the muffler shop with the news my y pipe was leaking up front.. and my cousin walked me hard.. it wasn't even a contest.. I already told medic.. if he is so happy and all that crap.. we can run again when i put in my cattman pipe..

med an i ran from what 80 - 120? he started with 2 cars and i put about 2 more cars on him.. until i slowed down.. med don't use the excuse you had 150 lbs worth of stereo stuff.. first off .. no stereo stuff is 150 lbs and my cousin who was holding the camera weighs more than 150 lbs

second if you watch the highway runs.. where is medsonic? where is he.. hehehe.. J and I are killing him.. where were you med?

I cant see the videos.

They load fine, but when the media player appears it says internal error and I get "performed an illegal function" crap. Can someone please assist me with this? What is wrong? I have to see those videos!

He didn't want to race his 'family'. WEAK. BTW, the VB is GREAT. All the automagic owners that have ridden in my car want one now, and even a few 5 speed owners like it.

I really don't think a leaky Y-pipe will kill much performance unless there is a huge leak plus your car would be extremely loud. From the video, you car sounds fine. I've got exhaust leaks between my cat and at the B-pipe/muffler joint. I can clearly feel the hot exhaust coming out at idle. I ran 14.7s with these two exhaust leaks. I'm just too lazy to fix them. Maybe I'll try some muffler weld or something.

In the video, it looks like the race starts nearly side by side and then Sprint starts to pull away. When he shifts to 4th (you need to work on that shift), Med pulls back in a few feet, then starts to fall back again. When Sprint let off, it appeared he had maybe one car length. I say one car because once Med is out of the frame, Sprint lets off and Med is immediately there. If two cars were pulled, Med wouldn't be back in so quickly.

That's my take on the video.

I would like to see a video of Quangsang (with his current mods) and Sprintmax (with his current or new Y-pipe) on a similar highway roll without NOS of course.

14.7x with a 2.0-2.1 60'(excellent 60' times for a Max I might add) and with the mods you have there seems to be something wrong with the mid range punch on your car. I would think you should have been around 14.5-14.6 at least with those 60'. What was the trap speed of the 14.7's? What type of tires were you using for those runs?

Jose, the VB shifts hard as hell. I drove Medic's car a month back.

Medic and Sprint,

Stop teaming up on people again.

I never questioned your 14.7, I just say a a little more respect for automagics. This is now twice where you failed to prove that 5 speeds are superior to automagics, and this time, the speed limiter can't be used as an excuse.

Sprint fears automagics.

At speed, autos will definitely contend.

Btw, who was the camera man? Could have use better steady hands.

Sprint, you sure you didn't pressed on the brake pedal accidently in those races?

And what's up with the supercharged Maxima that didn't want to race you? Geez...why get the supercharger then?

The excuse was, "I don't want to waste my gas." There's gas stations all over the place at the Pike.
