im looking for a 95/96 ecu for my 97 max se to send out for reprogramming. i can get the ecu for free but need the numbers off of a 95/96 ecu so i can order it. also does it matter if the ecu is from se, gle, or gxe?

 

if you have a 97, get the 96 ECU, obd2
b6 or b7
a18-Exx-xxx

 

so those #'s u gave me, is that enough for the salvage place to get the right one?

The SE ecu does not have a limiter so you can hit 140 mph. How much does a ecu cost. I planning on getting one to be reprogrammed probably in dec.

I'm sure that your source wouldn't mind a nominal fee for a bunch of them and I doubt we'd mind paying you one as well...

 

i know forsure i can get atleast 1 for free since i order tons of used parts from this place everyday, i will look into what cost of other ones would be and how many they have.

 

won't matter after repromgramming... they can easily remove limter.

 

place i called only has 1 ecu with that # a18-c84-eyo i ordered the one, what other #'s will work?
