Confused about redline oils.. please help..

ok so i go to there website and they have like 8 diff oils.. I have a 97 se 5 speed and i was wondering wich one of the transmission oils would work best for me also how many quarts would i need? One more question any one know of any good differential oil? thanks

Look in your owner's manual for the correct TYPE of tranny oil, then match it up w/ the Redline one.

As far as differential oil, you don't have a choice. In FWD cars, the differential is enclosed inside the transmission case. Unless you thought your car was RWD?? J/K

i have a 98 5 sp., i am using redline mt-90. i think there is a stock wt., available also.

Unless you have a particularly special need for some reason then you have two choices, MTL (manual transmission lubricant) for trannies with less wear on them and MT-90 which is a bit heavier weight oil that protects worn boxes a bit better. Both are GREAT oils. Don't forget though, you can't drain all your oil in one shot. To get max benefit you need to change it, run for a few hundred miles and then change it again to flush as much of the old oil out. Good luck to you.
