I have non-stock rims that were on my Maxima when I bought it. Unfortunately for me I'm no to savvy when it comes to car stuff so here goes.
I believe the rims are 16" since the tires I have on there are 215/55VR16 Dunlops.
My question is I need to replace these rims but the tires are new. Will they fit any 16" rim or do I need a certain kind of rim?
Thanks!!

Any 16" rim that has the proper offset, bolt pattern and hub bore will work. You have a little leeway in regards to width but for a 215 width rim, try to stay in the 6.5 - 7" width range. 6.5" will give you some better curb protection.
