i have the same thing on my 96. I bypassed all the factory wiring and ran my own wires.
1) on the back of the housing for each fog light, drill a small hole so that the lightbulb wire can poke through.
2) run a 12 or 14 gauge wire to each fog light wire from step1 and connect them together (run both wires up to the battery
3) connect another power wire to the battery and at the end connect a 30amp inline fuse
(so now you have 2 wires from each fog light and one power wire with inline fuse right next to the battery)
4) now run a pair of wires(12 or 14gauge) through your firewall into your switch
5) now with the wire from step4, connect one end of it to the inline fuse and the other end to the x2 fog light wires
6) as for grounding, the bulbs are independantly ground in each foglight housing. If you have a switch that lights up just run a ground wire from it to the steering column(metal)
7) your done!! just dont forget to shut them off when you leave your car like i always do.
hope this helps bro! let me know if you need any other help
