Nice pics.

Is that too much bodyroll? I'd suggest the RSB and RSTB for auto-X.

hey man, looks nice, I actually video taped my run and it had almost 0 body roll, although for some reason it feels like there is a lot of body roll from the inside, good job, I'll try to get some pics posted

dude, think about it, how can we really tell you this, it all depends on how hard you push your car, how many times a year you do this... so many factors that it's impossible to really tell you that

I did realllly bad. It was my first time and i slalemed the wrong way. But i dont get it... the special autocross cars, and the go carts with a million hourse power got like 35 seconds and i would have gotten 45 seconds if it werent for the penatly. And there were people in my class running 38's. I dont get why the scores were so close in the different classes?

the reason is because it's not the car that matters but the driver, the car setup helps, but if I have a top guy drive my car, he'll shave 6-10 sec off my times, but we have the tines in the minute range

You may think you're driving it at the limit but you won't know until you have someone else (good) drive the car or if you have an instructor in your passenger seat during a driving school session. I knocked off about 1-2 seconds after attending a driving school session since I didn't realize how much space I wasn't using through the turns. By using the whole apex, I'm able to maintain more speed through that turn and keep the revs in my usable torque range.

Here's a shot of my little autoX car.. that's about as much wheel gap as I can get.. hehe.. body roll? Not in this car

When you first start auto-x you may tend to overspeed through the turns and not brake enough. That was me last Sept at my 1st event. Actually melted the treads a bit on Z rated rubber. I was sliding through the turns and spinning the fronts the whole time.

Remember you gotta "go slow to be fast". Do that and you'll save your tires!

I'm not impressed, you didn't even pick up the inside rear tire off the ground

Very good advice. I'm still trying to remember that. It's amazing how much time you can shave off, since it's mostly corners.

i don't think that the LCD is going to help your autocross too much either since now you will be distracted by movies and such, not to mention the sparks flying everywhere from my ghetto battery hookup how was the drive to portland anyway?

dude, if you autoX you should definatly get springs & shocks and a sway bar

probably the best choice would be H&R springs + Koni shocks + Stillen sway bar (more expensive but worth more then the cheap substitutes)

best choice? coilovers man. H&R are even softer than eibachs.. dont know where you heard that. thats a good setup for everyday driving.

well, I'll tell you why it's the best, first of all, coilevers? they're at least 1200 bucks, and plus you still have to get a sway bar, they are not worth the $$$, and if you were going to get coilvers, get a "real" car for racing, something little lighter, so H&R+Koni are better, also, I disagree that H&R are softer then Eibach, go to www.tirerack.com from what they tested, H&R's were actually stiffer, and I believe them more then 99.999999% of the members here, only because tirerack are professionals and they use the same cars for this purpose, a daily driver is not expert enough to say if one spring is stiffer then the other, and even if H&R's are softer, they are only softer on the straight aways, but since they are PROGRESSIVELY WOUND (loosely wound first then tighter and tighter) when you push them at extremes they becomes as stiff as any other spring, PLUS, if you use Koni's, you can adjust the rebound to whatever you want, and there you have a good suspension
