Has anyone used a brand of motor/ engine flush for their engine between oil changes? is that recommended by the way? Is it the gimmick or does this really help to remove gunk and crap out of the engine before filling up with new oil?

I was just wondering since I have never done an "engine" flush and some said that process of flushing is not good for the engine?

when I switched from Dino Oil to Amsoil Synthetic. It was recommended to switch to a new Oil filter for the Flush, then replace it with another one when you put in the new Oil. I have not heard about them being harmful.... quite the opposite in fact
