ot: could we maybe adjust our signatures?

I know that everyone means well, but some of us who worked in the World Trade Center don't always want to see images of the destruction all the time.

Again, respectfully, I don't think that there should be photos of the WTC in signatures. It's a personal thing, and obviously what I say doesn't go, so you guys decide.

Pmar, you have to remember that many of the people here are only kids. They probably don't realize the significance of the events. Like you say, they probably don't mean any disrespect. I myself would not show the towers burning in my sig, but to each his own. Just like Dan Rather said on CNN that he would not put red/white/blue on his lapel, he still is a patriot.
