i can't see having a car with that much power being an auto. it just wouldn't be fun to drive. so the S/C had some effect too...

That has to be a typo...where can you get the conversion done for $450?

I can't see myself doing that to my car though. It was born an auto...it shall remain an auto and make someone else very happy!

That is awesome, but I don't want to go through the hassle. No way would my parents even consider letting me do it anyways. I don't know why...the car is mine. I pay for it. My dad is nuts about me doing stuff to my car though.

I guess I'll just wait around until my '98 Sterling Mist SE comes along and trade my car in on an impulse. Either that or keep this one for about 1.5 years and then sell it to my sister STOCK, cause she'll be driving then. Then I can buy a '98-'99 Sterling Mist and put all the mods on that one.

FYI, I've had this car for 7 months, not 5 like I previously said. I would edit the post, but someone said something about that after and it wouldn't make sense to people who are reading this thread for the first time.

WHY DID I BUY AUTO?

That is why I waited around until I finally found mine. It took a while though. It was also my first 5speed but I knew I would ask myself the same thign one day if I settled and got the auto. Keep looking it is out there.
