just ask DA-MAX

Cefiro = Japanese maxima.
B16 is the Honda motor that's in the Del Sol, the new Civic Si and bunch of other Japanese Civics.
B18 is the Honda motor that's in the Acura Integra GSR. To be exact the Integra GSR has B18C1. The B18B1 is the Acura integra LS.

They also have muffler bearings, O-pipes, and other needed items for the engine swaps.

A search would have revealed this, though:

It's not so much the money issue, it's the fact that most of the people asking the questions are kids who have nowhere near the kind of money to do what they're dreaming about. If you're driving your parents maxima, you shouldn't be thinking about engine swaps or custom turbos. And if you notice the posts about this stuff, you'll notice that they don't seem very well though out. It's never "Well I figured through my research that such and such is a close fit, if I modify this, will it work?" It's always, "Yo man, how can I fit a tUrBo in ma badazz ryde?" There is absolutely no way that someone like that is gonna figure out how to do something big.

Notice that there are people who asked about putting a turbo in their cars, like Unclemax and nobody jumped on him. Because he had most stuff figured out already and was just asking a few detail questions. That's the difference.

I know that when I first got my I30 (about 4-5 months ago) I knew nothing about cars period. I think I was one of the few who spent more time reading the boards than posting something ignorant. I think that only a few people actually have the patience for that and still shouldnt deserve to get the treatment they do, in general. I know there are some really dumfuks who get on here and ruin everything but I really think that when people show some sort of interest in learning about what they can do their car (or more often, what they can't do) should be embraced and if it's completely obscene, then well it should be tee off time...

Remember the old axiom....Speed cost money, how fast do you want to go? A good rule of thumb in engine swaps is when you start, get the biggest damn....hold on, i got another $100.00 coming out of my butt.... hammer you can get!

I don't understand why all the hate for somone trying to be fast/original instead of having a sc Maxima that can't get out of the 13s w/o something crazy done... If someone does a turbo and bump down the high *** compression the Maximas have we could probly run some crazy *** boost with the block... Has anyone done anything with the compression ratio at all anyways???

btw- I myself am looking into buyin a 00+ engine with a 5 spd tranny and putting it into my car anybody wanna bite my head off???? I know you need to change the ecu and junk but look at what the honda boys do to their junk... New ecu... switchin out trannies... cutting firwalls... rr format... 190 to the wheels costin around the 4 k it cost to get a sc from vortech put in and I would still be all motor...

venting cuz we seem to have closed minds about mods... why not post info that helps them cuz once one person says some bs like "why not put in a rocket while your at it" it goes downhill form there cuz noone wants to step up and help the newguys, that probly came fom the honda world that does all the "new" stuff to the point where there is nothing new to do so they moved on...

People never bite heads off. Especially in this forum.

BTW, it should be "their" and "something. Oh, and you forgot to capitalize "why".

Did you see how the last post was phrased?? blah blah blah and you can't stop me. It was not meant to be taken seriously, ie no serious responses. Then the poster kept replying to his own post to keep the "flames" going.

If you really want to do it, take digital photos all along the way, then put together something and put it on the web. It'll be helpful to others since the VQ is so darn cheap on eBay. The only thing is these VQ's seem to last so it's not likely that anyone will own the car long enough for a motor swap.
