Cool Intake idea a success READ!!

i got a custom cai installed today
they used a 3" tube from home depot and they connected it to the adapter tha i originnaly used for the intake and they connected it iwth a clamp.

then they ran that all the way behind the fans of the rad and there they put a cone filter..
then followed by that they put a water guard like a metal sheet under the car where the filter is so water doesnt get in..

overall
gains are deffinitly there...
this is soo much better then the oscai...
email me up for questions.

so heres another Intake idea to get real cold air. What if you cut a hole in your firewall and ran the intake inside the cabin? shure alot colder than anywhere outside the car.......

Once the radiator fans come on, you've got 180+ degree air blows into the filter. You're also getting a ton of radiant heat from the radiator and exhaust manifold at all speeds.

do the fans really blow to the nose of the car?? That's friggin wierd because when you're driving, the wind is coming in the engine and then the fans would be trying to blow out towards the front causing a surge of gray matter to form and maybe making your car leap into a worm hole into another dimension.

Someone help me, I'm friggin bored. Work sucks

No,the fans pull air through the radiator.

If your car has a tendency to leap through space and time or position itself either in one place at all times or in all places at one time, tighten you gas filler cap.

Worked for me.

Oh it's the gas filler cap causing that problem? Damn, I forgot to check that

Unless my fans are wired in reverse from the factory, when they come on, they blow hot air from the engine compartment across the radiator and out the nose of the car.

Doesn't matter which way the fans blow, you'll still be getting EXTREMELY hot air coming across the filter.
