Busted: My co-worker the rice-boy...
This is funny...the other day when I posted about My kill against a Taurus, I mentioned that my co-worker has a '99 v-6 5 spd...I was told there was no such thing. Well this got me thinking really hard. I've never been in the guy's car, he talks about it a lot and how fast it is, but I can spank him constantly in my car whenever he tries to run me. I'm also 100% sure it is a 5-speed, and I'm also sure it says EX V-6 on the back. So I was just talking to him tonight about an account we are going to call on tomorrow morning, and I remember the post. So I ask him (he loves talking about his car): "Your car is a '99 V-6 right?" And he replies "yes". And I asked, "and it's a 5-speed?" "Yes." So I said, "Steve (the guy's name), you've been boasting about your v-6, and I found out they don't make 5 speed v-6's in '99; what's up?"
Turns out his car is just a 5-speed 4-cyl. EX, loaded w/ aftermarket wheels, and he stuck the V-6 emblem and spoiler on the rear to try and impress. Seems he's suffering from "small-man syndrome" when it comes to comparing his car to mine and our other colleague's (w/ the es-300).
Rice-boy exposed!!! Hahahaha... I've lost a ton of respect for him, and I even told him as much. That would explain why I can kill him so damn easily. (All of this, however, is making me re-evaluate going up against a bona fide v-6 Accord).
