The dealer did the bump for free
I told the service advisor to set it for 19 or 20. I haven't done any wot cuz I want to go easy on the brakes, but a 1/2-3/4 throttle it has some more pick up. No pinging either.....I'm running 14gal of 93 and ~4gal of 87(thats what was left last night).
I'm happy.
EBC's bite nicely too...but I'm going really really easy so they bed-in corectly.

Just a couple at most, but it feels like it gained some pep. It seems to be from idle to redline(but I've only taken it to 4k). It just pulls easier off a stop sign. Also....4th gear crusing at say 70...I got on it(but not enough to force a downshift to 3rd) and it seems to build speed more effortlessly. Almost like it added more part throttle power.
Told ya so..........
I feel that all a VG auto needs to run low 16's is like I/Y/E and 19* timing. Mine ran 16.3 with a bad 2-3 shift with I/E/UDP, mine weighs about the same as a 3rd gen. Plus I'm down 8hp/14tq bone stock.

ok...so it does work nicely.
I'm sure the true ecu would be better, but its 500 bucks vs. FREE. Note: You have to use high grade...i've got mostly 93 in there and its fine. I did a wot run from 35-80. The Car downshifted from 3rd to 2nd and pulled hard to redline(like 70-75mph). That dead 5200-6000 seems to be more kick....like...it sounds the same but is doing more.
I like it. So..intake,Y,Timing. I'm thinking muffler next...but I like quiet...so maybe not. Pulleys anyone?
