Rewired my fog lights...

I did my foglight rewire yesterday. It was very very easy, and looks great. I'm glad I finally did it instead of putting it off some more. It only took about 20 mins and well worth it.

can you summarize what you did

The instructions looked a bit difficult. 20 minutes is well worth it for me. I've been wanting to fiddle with the fogs for some time.

thanks

I tried doing this before and got stuck with the fuses. I got the top off, but didn't know how to remove the fuses. Your pictures are very helpful...now I know what it should look like. I was scared to break my fuses and fusebox as I had no idea how to remove them. Thanks again.

They're relays, not fuses. Just to clarify

the max has the best headlight and fog configuration, like the placement of both just make the max a great looking car in my rearview at night, the foglight mod is just another bonus

I used the site that Bryan made and sent. The directions were very easy. Instead of a wire tap, I soldered the wires togather and taped them up.

You're Welcome.
Just wanted to give something back to the community.

Actually there are instructions with pictures for just about every install job on the maxima. You just need to know where to find them.

Yeah it is easy. Basically amounts to clipping one wire from the foglight relay, and then tapping a 3ft wire from that to your corner lights. All the other instructions is how to dismantle and remove the relay/box. You can get wire and wire taps from Radio Shack for cheap.
