A 9 second maxima??? is this true

I was told by one of the people who works at the famous budget exhaust that he saw a maxima break into the 9s on speedvision. He said it was really stipped down and had a full role cage. Anybody know anything about this?

A 9 sec. Maxima? I doubt it. Maybe it was a SE-R? If they aren't a Maxima enthusiasts, they might have mistaken a SE-R for a Maxima or vice-versa. Case of mistaken identity?

I agree with you.... but just because nobody has invested the capitol to make a 9 second maxima does not mean that it can't be done.

Maybe someone with a skyline, shaved the badges and put maxima badges on it?

I've seen 1000hp+ skylines in magazines. I know they can do 9sec 1/4miles.
