that is no skyline!!
I hate what they did, they had the R34 it was perfect and then they made the concept R35

THAT'S A FREAKING SKYLINE, and should be the new Skyline they bring to the us, R35 GTR V-Spec

Interesting....doesn't look sporty enough. What will happen to I35/Max sales?

Lexus differentiated the IS from the ES pretty well.

From what I read, it looks like it will be smaller than the current Max and larger than the G20. We all know the Max is still up in the air as for what may happen to it. Nissan talks about it going up against the Avalon but who will really care about it at that point. Has anyone here made it a point to race an Avalon? As far as performance goes, I think more and more people will by the Altima 3.5 5 speed.

It will probably be about the same size as the IS300 and BMW 3 series. Those are the two cars the G35 will compete with. G35 have some mods from NISMO in Japan already. Can't wait to see the real thing in the USA.

thE G35 is larger than the IS300 and 3series.. 52/48 wieght distribution to make it one of the best handling cars in the world. 270+ hp because it is going to be the new Z drivetrain. a 5speed shiftronic and a 6 speed manual out of the new Z.

Call me different but I like it. I have this issue of C&D and fell in love with this ride. Sure it's no real Skyline but the specs on it are awesome. Do you really think that they're gonna bring us a real Skyline? Not in my lifetime. The price range on the G35 is nice and compared to the IS300, I would take this hands down.

y r some of u saying this is not a REAL skyline. the skyline originaly started as a 4d car the GT-R was added on later. And there always was a 4d skyline in japan.

I agree with deezo. If the price is very competitive with the Lexus IS300 and BMW 3 series then this car will sell. Just look at the price range for the Acura TL 99-2000. Find a nice niche in the market place and it will sell itself. Finally a real NISMO/Skyline Nissan car in the USA! Something that is not going for $80K+

I must agree.

4 doors, 3.5 liters, 6 speeds, 270hp, 4 wheel independent suspsension, rwd....for $30k?!

Stars and Stripes, that's value!!

ps

IMO drop it, add a body kit and 18's...it'll look KILLER

Also remember that this car is based on the Skyline. I feel only serious performance can be expected and even when Nissan decides to play around with more horses and a suspension along with fat tires to back it up.

Sprint had one in his sig pic with larger wheels and it looked like it had a small body kit on it too.

In fact, adding a body kit and lowering the car will ruin the car's characteristics. The car has a zero-lift aerodynamic package. There's no need for any body kit or rear wing.
