WTF
wtf, i said alreadyy that i didn't know much about cars but so what ? a 6cycl to a 4cycl??? if the sr20 is so great and so much can be done with it blah blah blah then why not??? besides, i've read mags with cars with sr20 swaps that had like 400 and 500hp at the wheels, so if that much hp can be provided by a 4cycl then WTF why hasn't anyone done it? don't flame me for trying to come up with new ideas

Its a great engine, but I think it should be left to the Sentras, and 240SXs. Both cars are much lighter and can use the power given by the engine. The Maxima is so heavy, that that supposed 400 hp wouldn't even get it into the 15s. Sure, the SR can churn out major hp, but you still need some torque to get the Max moving. The SR20 lacks that. A torquey V6 is best mated with a heavy car such as the Max.

ok so ur tellin' me that 4 or 500 at the wheels wouldn't compensate for the max being heavy??? wtf ever, we all go nut about getting 5 or 10 hp out of a cai and ur tellin' me it would put it into the 15s cuz its heavy??? 4 or 500 hp is plenty enough to move ANY damn car

HP sells cars, torque moves cars.

Read this... it gives a good example between hp and torque:

And these are also pretty good:
