yeah ive been considering getting some wet sand and going to town on the valve to make it nice..

syc- yes the engine was really dirty, thanks for noticing..hah

phatguy- it's 35% Reflective Charcoal all around

nghting- yeah i love the fact that i did so much for $3.49

nismo- I am doing the tie down bracket next weekend along with some other random metal pieces in the engine and when i do the valve, how the hell did you do the calipers without taking the tires off?? paintbrush?? lol.

redmax- yeah i hope mine don't fade, if they do i take off the tires and paint em again, doesn't bother me at all.. thanks tho

theblue- whoa, the valve and manifold look real good, how long did it take you do them? And nathan's engine bay is amazing, you know how much his hoses were? the silver ones? and how long they take to install?

cumalot- so fresh and so clean, looks real good man.

that looks great dude! What paint did you use on the glove box lid??? Any problems with chipping or scratches?

I'm really interested in this painting the dash idea.

i used Duplex Vinyl paint, you can get it from any discount auto parts or car parts or anything.. pep boys.. i also used some sandpaper to scuff up the surface of it, once you paint it you cant go back so...

scuff it up, spray about 5 light coats 12-16 inches away.. get some less coarse sand paper and scuff it again, should NOT take the paint all the way off.. then put about 5-7 more coats of paint on.. and do like 2-3 coats of a Clear Coating.. this gives NO scratches.

i need to redo mine..
