I ALMOST broke into the 13s tonight
Well I went to the track today hoping to break into the 13s. the track conditions were 40 degrees and 85% humidity. In other words the track was REALLY cold...and therfore traction sucked BAD.
I started out the night with a 2.307 60 foot and ran a NOS'd 14.264@98.12mph....
at first I was very disappointed
Then one the second run...I heated my tires up pretty good...and BOGGED out of the hole BAD and still ran a 14.278@97.51mph.
I was like...ok now I know that heating up the tires helps out of the hole...and I modified my shift points....and on my third run of the night on only a 50 shot with a 2.217 60 foot I ran my best time of the night of 14.048@98mph
By this point I was DETERMINED to break into the 13s....which I never actually did.
Anyway....Josh (MaxDriver847) ran a best time of 15.5@89mph....which is 6 tenths SLOWER than his best time of 14.9@93 two weeks ago...
So I decide to do an N/A run.....and ran what I thought was a good run until I got the timeslip 15.234@90mph....WTF....I know my car can run AT LEAST 14.7 N/A....so if I actually get a NICE day to go to the track...I should EASILY be in the 13s with only a 50shot

Congrats on teh new time.
Im sure wiht some better weather you can hit 13's.
Im also sure you can pull better then 2.2 60fts.
On a 50 shot my trap speeds are almost with yours @ 97.45mph w/ 60fts of 2.3....but i am also auto.
What bottle pressure are you running at? Even when its a bit humid...that is where NOSed cars have an advantage. It shouldnt effect NOSed cars too much at all compared to boosted.

yeah weather messed everything up. felt like i was running stock again i even let brian drive my car, figured was me messing up or something, but that didnt even help.
14.0 was sill nice for brian, but if get a decent day around here again, high 13.0's should be no problem at all. alot of guys very impressed with his times, remember just intake, clutch and exhaust
