Ok I have a quick question. I have a 97 I30, I know that my 97 is modeled after a 96 maxima. I am wondering if maybe I have 96 ECU? Does anyone know if I'm ok to get the ECU upgrade?

 

It's a 1997.

 

Although everything else is a 96? I wasn't sure if it would follow suit to the other 99% of the car that is a 96.

 

Just wanted to tell you to email Brian Catts at Cattman Performance. He told me that you can exchange a '97 for a '96 and will work just fine. I have just ordered from him and he has been very helpful with all my questions. Hope this helps ya

 

Works fine, but do you get the benefits of the the upgrade? I've been waiting for the ECU upgrade to do the NOS...
