craig what kind of springs do you have on your car? I have intrax and my tires were getting worn down from the inside. The cure on the front struts there are two bolts right one on top of the other right above the caliper and if you loosen those bolts and pull on the strut it will give you the positive camber which is slightly millimeters and that worked for me. A couple of guys here have sprints installed and they said they didnt need it. Perhaps they did this as well. As for my self I am on the look out to see if I need a camber kit since I cut one coil off my intrax springs.

if i got sprint springs which claim to lower the car 2" all around, will i need a camber kit to adjust the camber? or is it not necessary?

hopefully not
Look Ill tell you what some of these guys posted on here they said that they installed sprints and did not need any. Youll know if you need some because your tires will start to wear on the inside. If thats the case you can get the camber bolts for about $32.00 from the tire rack. see the diagram that I posted? they go right where you see that bolt which would be the top one. Do not let any shop sell you the bolts for $60.00 plus installation when you can put them on yourself and take to an alignment shop right away and just pay for the alignment. And if you got the cash hell you can get some camber plates from stillen for about $313.00.

what would be the difference between the camber bolts from tire rack versus the plates offered by stillen? is stillen for racing applications or quick adjustablity? will the bolts offered by tirerack serve my purpose and be durable?

IF you need your camber to get fixed they ll do the job. But if your going to the race track and want to the adjustments yourself and got the money I d get the plates. But if is just a one time adjustment I'd go with the screws. I ordered my screws over year and half ago, and put them on once and took them righ off. I did play with them and yes they tilt your wheel in and out quite a bit. I might need to put them on this time since I modified these springs.

this might sound like a silly question, but can i install the bolts AFTER the fact that my suspension is assembled or will i have to disassemble the entire suspension just to install the camber bolts? i guess i should just order camber bolts the same time i choose to swap out for sprint springs right and have them all installed at once correct? check your PMs.

Yes, it is very common for lowering springs to change the gravitational constant :-(

I don't know about you guys, but all this lowering and needing chamber kits is kindof overwhelming to me. (To do it on my own) I know I will need to get my car aligned afterwards, and a good alignment will cost me $53 bucks. And I don't wanna ***** up my suspension, so I might just have a damn shop do it. How much did you guys pay for your work ??

All these aftermarket toys are overwhelming.
