Pulled into work behind my boss this morning; turns out he's a Maxima driver, too! A pleasant surprise; the one time I talked to him about cars, he told me he was looking to get an SUV. Guess he saw the light...

I figure that balances out the coworker of mine who just bought a Saturn. He was having some doubts about it's lowly 100 hp, so I told him he'd just have to start modding it!

I'd like to know if there are any well known tv or hollywood or whoever types out there who have a Maxima in their personal collection of cars. C'mon..there's gotta be at least ONE!!!!! ......if not ..has a Maxima ever been prominently displayed in a movie or tv program??? I saw one zipping by in a street scene in some second rate tv movie not too long ago..forget the name of the movie though!!

Re: trivia

i doubt a max will be in anyone's collection, unless the guy is collecting one of each car ever made.

not to mention "Bring it on" during the car wash sequence, a golden GLE can be seen getting it's butt waxes by some HS ladies

In the movie Menace II Society, the main characters try to steal a 3rd Gen black Maxima from a parking garage, but get stopped by the cops.

uh... correct me if I'm wrong...

I "think" that Mel Gibson and Danny Glover were in a 4th gen in either the last or the pre-last lethal weapon. I don't know why i am saying this, but this scene is stuck in my head, about some police undercover dude in a 4th gen weavin in and out of traffic after someone....

I'm sure there are a lot of Maximas in movies, I never actually paid any attention to it. I will now

You know, I was just searching for it on Google, and the very first link was to an older thread on here about it!

I doubt too many filmmakers would use foreign (read: Japanese) autos for anything major....after all, they gotta promote the good ol' American muscle! Patriotism, after all...even gih-end Lexus', Infiniti, Acura, does not show up, but Benz, Bimmers, and Ferarri's sure as hell will show up.

Ever notice this?
