what cha got? leather or cloth?...

i was bored and then i started to wonder have many of you guys have leather, and how many have cloth. you can also tell us why you did or didn't get leather/cloth. this is for ALL gens. i am also wanting to see if there is anyone on this org with one of those 4th gen gle's that didn't have leather(btw, i almost bought one of those in 98, a 95 gle with everything EXCEPT leather, but the dealer tried to screw us on the deal)

Got leather because.....

1) Wife wanted it. This was a small concesion to make as long as I got to buy the Max!

2) Cars on various lots were either loaded or stripped. Since I wanted Bose and Sunroof, I had to get leather.

Cloth for me because it's hot most of the year in Fl. But I have to admit, the leather makes the interior look classier.

Old, hard, cracked, leather. I wish I had cloth in the summer every time I sit down:

I guess you haven't left the windows open in the rain yet, just wait. Wet leather smells alot like a wet dog.

im so happy i got leather. always had cloth and thought leather was too hot or too cold, but when i got the leather i've never noticed it. I live in florida and have had the leather for 2 years now and never had a problem. i have my windows tinted pretty good and im gonna get the front windshield done too but i were long shorts so my legs never feel the heat and it doens't really get that cold in Orlando.

I have black/gray tweed

Nobody else has tweed? Was tweed only an option on third gen SE's or what? I've only seen a couple other Max's with it. Anyways, I love my tweed. I'd probably choose it over regular cloth or leather any day.

Re: what cha got? leather or cloth?...

Black Leather. Sweet looking in a black car. Its a lot of work (vs. no cleaning with cloth), but it is worth it! My hubby got tan leather on his. I have the heated seats, so I'll be okay in the winter. Summer is another story...

Cloth. Warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

IMHO, leather is always the way to go in any car...mine is black and does have some sun damage. Wish I had heated seats though--they are the BOMB in the winter. The Volvo's seats are heated and I must say are the most comfortable seats I've ever been in. I wonder what they'd look like in a Maxima...I will miss them when they're gone.

well, I have the stock cloth right now, but I plan on getting some nice little Sparco's pretty soon, so it will be better cloth.

unfortunately..

I have a stock GXE therefore I have cloth
To make it even worse, I have TAN cloth which is ugly as hell. I am looking for tan leather, I also considered switching my interior color to black or charcoal but it would involve a lot of work and $ which I do not have. I never had leather on either 1 of my cars and it sucks! I love leather.
