tokico shocks

before I continue....I just want to be clear that I'm not posting this to be flamed...so!!!!

anyways, I've got tokico shocks on my car...and I'm thinking of changing them (either get them swapped for brand new ones (lifetime guarantee...or buy new shocks (KYBs adjustables)

I was just wondering how do you tell if your shocks are shot or not...(sure...the press down firmly and watch of bounce in car test...)...?! I have put on perhaps 30K + miles on the eibach tokico suspension setup that I've got...got to driving school like 3 times already....! driven in pot hole city...CHICAGO...and crappy country roads.

perhaps its a matter of preference for some people to decide when their shocks are shot...sure its trick to have adjustable shocks...I sure could use them...was even thinking about the cattman coilovers...but they seem to have a ton of problems.

all honest opinions about this matter is greatly appreciated.
thanks

Re: tokico shocks

Push down on the corner of your car (like your hood) and let go. Count the number of bounces before the car stops. 3 or more, your shocks are worn. With out shocks the car would bounce on the spring up and down.
