gonna install it tomm morining. Ah yes.....nothing like 800 Cold cranking amps at 0 degrees! Hehe....its gonna start like space shuttle But really....hopefully this will take care of some of the extra load the headlights/accs/and fogs out on the car at idle in drive.

Lights(random..tails..ect): ~50w
Headlights: 2x45w: 90w
Hella fogs: 2x85w: 170w

310W. Ouch.

Will post results tomm.

I got the Interstate MT-34R recommened by MATT. 875CAs. Better than a red top much less expensive. The red top = more for looks.

ok....

you have 75amps more than me

We both have 400 more than are needed to start the car. My point....I hope this bad boy acts as a capacitor.

ps....my electrical skill is very limited

Basically the battery will not act as a capactitor. All it will do is supply more power if you want to run the stereo when the car is turned off and have reserve still to start your car. You need to get a cap if you want more power when the notes hit. Also a better Alternator will help as well, but a battery doesn't do much unless you have 2 of them.

My stock battery is 7 years old....I think I got the oldest one It seems to start....ok...it DOES start SLOWER when it hits 30. 0 would not be fun. But it did start ok last winter. We shall see.

1) you don't have a Max anymore, living in the past And why did you sell you're 2k max and get a 2k Sentra? Definitley a big step down after a short period of time.

I was going to school, and a few things changed recently that changed that. The school basically lied, and the courses are flex, way to fast for me and working 40 hrs a week with school at night with no time to study basically. So I had to pull out. I am gonna study on my own, MCSE,CNA,N+, etc. Oh well, I plan on getting one again eventually, waiting to see what 2002 brings.

I went to a local interstate dealer here, and I got it for $75 bucks. Go to there homepage, and they have a dealer lookup. That's how I found it.
