Tire Question
Anybody got Yokohama AVS dB tires? My 18's are being shipped to me now and I am considering getting these. Post pics if you got em.
Or if anybody got any other good suggestions for a quiet tire with good tread, good ride.

TIRE QUESTION
KEEP IN MIND THE SOFTER THE RUBBER ON THE TIRE THE FASTER IT WILL WEAR OUT, BUT IT WILL GRIP BETTER ON THE ROAD. NOW IF YOUR WORRIED ABOUT TIRE WEAR ID GO WITH THE NITTO EXTREME NT 555'S THE TIRES DONT WEAR THAT FAST. NOW IF YOU HAVE THE BIG BUCKS I DONT KNOW WHICH TIRE GIVES YOU A COMFORTABLE QUIET RIDE.

Nitto tires are still great tires thats my opinion since I own them
Sorry to hear that happened to your car but keep in mind no one is perfect. I mean look the firestone, ford is blaming firestone and firestone blamng ford. Like all things you cant prevent some a manufacturerd defect atone time or another, Nitto paid for all your damages thats good and I use to live in Japan and if I am not Japaneese build some of the most reilable things out in the market and they are very honest hardworking people as well. Well your not the first to down Nittos until something bad happens to me Ill keep buying them I love my NT 555's and highly recommend them.

Firestone Tires, it was both of their faults.
Ford for not thoroughly testing tire pressures to achieve better ride, and funny thing is, I took part in a study on a track of a "blow-out" condition on a 97 Ford Explorer XLT w/ Firestone ATX Tires, I was able to retain control w/o a problem. A bit vague feeling, but what happened to my NITTO tires is a shame, within 8 miles.....yes 8 miles....I was driving normal increasing speed from 20 to 45 to get around someone who was making a right, as the car next to me decided not to let me in, he gunned it, and at that moment, my left front tire blew out, and I lost control, and I plowed into him. This was the one time I tried NITTO NT 555 tires, because it was cheap, well I realize I got what I paid for.
