Need aftermarket alarm info ASAP! REMOTES STOLEN

My car key, factory security remote, and my Viper550HF remote were stolen tonight. I was downtown watching a band, but anyway. I dont have an extra key OR a extra viper remote! SO my first plan was to have my car towed far away so that the chump couldn't find my car by jamming on my remotes to find the car it belonged too.
So I am going to get a locksmith and get a new key, now I am stuck with my viper alarm. Maybe I can get another remote, but I dont want it to be possible for someone to have my remote floating around.
SOOOOO any advice????
I guess I might as well get a new alarm.....
any recommendations?? I might as well go ALL out this time...(pager,remote start windows up,etc) My fav dealer deals DEI Viper alarms etc. I heard a few good things about some Clifford LCD pager alarm though!
Well any info apprectiated, i will be getting it tomorrow so anything would be great ! thanks a lot!!!!!
Peace

hey man, you could always buy 2 new remotes,
program them over the old remote codes and
the alarm will forget the old codes. that way,
if that fool tries to use the old remote, it won't
do crap. dont spend money if you dont have to,
that's my motto

nother thing i forgot, just have the local
stereo/alarm shop disconnect the stock
keyless entry so the factory remote doesnt
work anymore

My unit is about 6 years old or so.
I use my factory remote so i can roll down windows and pop trunk.
I don't even have the viper hooked to my locking system at all. =\

Even if it is a 95 you can go on Ebay and buy a FOB(oem alarm remote) and reprogram it...it's real simple but I will direct you to the search feature for directions.....

well... you can either have your viper correctly installed,
or you can just get a new alarm
if you're gonna go all out, just go for the Clifford 9000.
your dealer should carry it, considering he has DEI.

This info is for the 2000 model...dont know how applicable to 4th gen... the 2000 holds codes for 4 remotes. adding new remote codes bumps off oldest remote codes. So, if you had a remote stolen you need at least 4 remotes total to make sure the one remote gets bumped out. Remotes for 2000's are going for about $10 on ebay.

That is true, but if you program 2 remotes twice, it's the same
as programming 4 remotes.
