I don't remember who took this shot, it was from a meet in early 2000. Makes me sad when I look at it.

 

very sad. i was up in NYC wed. night and i drove down the BQE in awe. the city just doesn't look the same

I got several pics of the twin towers from the meet we had earlier this year too.

 

It's probably a "first" of some kind - as the Empire State Building has regained that distinction as NYC's tallest building after Sept. 11th.

I walk past the Empire State Building everyday on my way to work, and in my opinion, it's a very nice building but it doesn't have what the WTC had. The towers were truly amazing.

 

It's sad! Nice pictures though.

have u guys been downtown lately? After the 1st week it was much crazier... I pass by the site of what formerly was the WTC, very sad site. It's better now, people are out on the street, you can actually breathe in air and not asbestos and crap a few blocks away... I have some old pics from 5+ years ago near the WTC. My brothers windows in his apartment in BK heights had a great view of all of downtown manhattan right across the river, now it's all gone. Truly sad.

 

so sad.. the building was a work of art... and two of them.

 

Those pictures almost brought a tear to my eye

 

This makes me so sad. I was up in those buildings about 1 1/2 years ago, and now they are gone. I am glad I at least got to see them once in my life

 

make me wanna kill them...
