Just came back from the Toronto Maxima meet..it was hype..with a nice suprise

Well I just got back from the Maxima meet in Toronto, it was pretty hype. Quite a few people were there, I finally got to meet Empz, costcowholesale, Deisel, klubjunkee, etc..

I also got a ride in Eugene's Maxima and Daniel's Supercharged Maxima..the SC Max is freaking crazy! Fastest car I have ever been in!! Eugene's Maxima is pretty damn fast too, he did a great burnout when he went to follow some stranger in a 4th gen who circled us and left! The stranger must have gotten scared when he saw the Eugene come up behind him, with his exhuast roaring.

The surprise was that there was an Accord meet in the same parking lot!! We didn't even know until Joee drove by and told us. So being the nice guys we are, we decided to join them. They were pretty cool and gawked our rides while we gawked at theirs. All of them LOVED Daniel's ride, especially the blow-off valve and supercharger sounds!!

Klubjunkee took pics as did Grant (fivelitrekiller). Empz's friend took videos. You should see both shortly.

I'm surprised you came for so many!! We were talking about you though and your magical Maxima...we still don't understand how the hell you get the times you do! Do you have little pixies and fairies in the engine that increase power or something??

We also learnt that Grant's dual exhausts makes car alarms go off in covered parking lots.

my car is slow you have to learn how to drive a maxima.... its a hard car to drive 1/4 so many get bad times.. I went to the track over 20 times this year and I've been improving every time...

When did Daniel come?? I had to go early, too bad I didn't see that car.

The SC Maxima that was at the meet, was it the same SC Maxima that was afraid to race Sprint?

anyway... sometimes when racing, I shift so fast that people think Im powershifting... - or they use it as an excuse when they lose... i owned every car when we were street racing that night and they knew it... I was just ****ed for a little while because I missed a couple shifts and they called them kills.

lets see:

2x trips to NJ = ~700 miles round trip
7x trips to Toronto = ~400-500 miles each round trip
1x trip to DC = ~1000miles total
more I can't think of...
------
a minimum of 5,200 meet related miles on my maxima

Pics are here http://gtamax.cjb.net under the General Discussion forum. I left some pics out to save you guys from mass embarrassment over the Internet. Grant doing his little robotic dance and others with ridiculous faces on Highlite of the meet definitely was Daniel arriving fashionably late and all the Honda dudes crowded around his supercharged max with their jaws dropped

Whoever this is, put your grill back on... it just looks ridiculous. The rest of the car looks great (if it's the one with the SMX sticker), but it looks like you were cheap and pocketed the insurance money after a wreck.

Sorry guys, that was my white 4th gen max SE that i circled you guys and took off... Sorry, my mom didn't want to come but that was my ex-girlfriend and she hates car meets..

Anyways, sorry i didn't stop, but i decided to see what the turnout was like.. I usually attend my ProtegeTECH meets, www.protegetech.com..

But my love for NISSAN will never stop.. And i will soon trade in my protege for the 2002 altima/maxima (depending on how i feel after driving them)..

But sorry guys.. i shoul dhave stopped, your cars all look nice.. Unfortunatly my Max SE is stock autotragic, wiht the only addition being gold plated letters...

oh, by the way, i am new to the group... so hello to you all..

Sure, add me to the e-mail list...

I have been reading alot of posts on maxima.org and i think the group is truely amazing.. I see you go to U of T, i got lots of friends there. I go to U of Waterloo.. in my 5th year chartered accounting/mathematics coop.. thus almost done..

Actually that white maxima i was driving is my parents, which the offered to give to me, and i can sell my mazda because my dad bought a new benz. But i decided to keep my little protege because it was economical, and i liked to keep the $hit out of it. Thus the 99 max SE sits in teh garage unless i drive it once in a while..

I want my manual max/altima and i most likely pick one up in 7months after i graduate...

I am also on a protege enthusiast site.. www.protegetech.com check it out if you guys got time!!
